First of all congrats to Maurice Jones Drew for not only winning the NFL rushing title but also setting a Jaguars single season record. This year us Jaguars fans haven’t had much to cheer for but MJD has been solid all year long. In this podcast I talk mainly about the head coaching search. I also take at look at other coaching opening around the NFL and the firing of Paul Vance.
As a fan you love to see your team on National TV unless you get smoked like the Jaguars did Thursday night. It was so painful that I’m not even going to talk about it but instead I’m going to talk about some comments Joe Thiesmann said about Blaine Gabbert. Monday Night Football is always fun but this one got ugly near the end of first half and all of the second half. This week I talk a little about the game, the Jaguars new owner Shahid Khan, and how losing is the Jaguars best option. That is never something as fans we want to say or even see happen but at this point it hurts the Jaguars to win games. I talk about all that and more in this weeks podcast.
The Jags dropped another one this week, losing to the Texans 20-13. This week I skip talking about most of the game because it was announced today that Jack Del Rio has been fired. You know what that means, I need new intro music. It also means that the will be changes happening in Jacksonville and hopefully for the better. Now I guess all the talks about who is going to be the next coach can officially start. In the meantime Mel Tucker will be the coach for the rest of this season. I talk about this and more in this weeks Jaguars Podcast.
One of the most frustrating things about doing a podcast is when something goes wrong and you have no idea why it went wrong, such is the case for me right now. For some reason my RSS feed decided not to work but I have no idea why. To make it more frustrating in the right corner it shows how many post are in that feed and that number is right. However no posts show up under the feed. There is a podcast up for the Browns game that you can download and list to but as of now it will not show up in your feed. I’m going to continue to try to work and figure out what is the problem.

This week the Jaguars and myself traveled to Cleveland. The game was much better than the matchup last season but the end result not so much. I talk about the game, how Blaine Gabbert is improving, and the crazy Brown’s fans.
This week the Jaguars traveled to Lucus Oil Field to take on the winless Colts. It sounds so good to say winless Colts, the only thing better would being able to say winless Titans. Gabbert showed some improvement, MJD did his thing and the defense played well again. I talk about all that this week and who is Chastin West?
It’s been two weeks since I podcasted and in that time the Jags won their Monday night game versus the Raven, with some great defense, and lost against the Texans on Battle Red day. In this podcast I talk very shortly about the win against the Ravens and then even more about the loss against the Texans. Is Gabbert finally showing some improvement? Also going into the bye we are 2-6, will Del Rio last through the bye? I talk about this and more in this podcast.
Another week another loss by the Jaguars. This week I don’t talk as much about the game but instead take a look at JDR and compare him to other coaches in the NFL. To me there is no question that Jack needs to hit the road but if you are still on the fence hopefully I can push you off of it. Also if Jack is gone does Gene Smith stay? Why we build up Gene Smith has he really done a great job while being here? I talk about and more like the return of the Skywalker.
